We’re Back!
Aloha! The Plant a Wish Tour has successfully completed its first phase: 25 states now have native trees (and wishes) planted, along with caretaker/guardians who will be looking after the trees and making sure they get the water and love that they need.
We’ve planted 48 native trees in total and collected 83 hours of footage! Our footage archive now includes interviews with scientists, professors, landscapers, farmers, anthropologists, land owners, gardeners, and all kinds of opinion leaders from around the nation.
Plant A Wish Promo Video
We wrote, shot, and edited this in 4 hours, to create a viral video to spread the word about the Plant A Wish project. It was done in the style of the title sequences in the cable series “Weeds”.
Promo in Production: 30 sec and 15 sec spots for “Plant a Wish”
Today we’re up in the green grassy hills of Olinda Maui, shooting two promos for the Plant A Wish project, our original documentary that follows us road-trip style as we hit all 50 U.S. states on a tree-planting tour.
As you can probably imagine, today’s shoot includes dirt, a shovel, a U.S. map, and a baby Hawaiian sandalwood tree. Oh, and a Tiffen polarizing filter for the DVX-100B.
Stay tuned!
