Joseph Imhoff
Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Joe is valued as VP of Noni Films for his unique combination of qualities: a love of adventure, a confident mind, and a grounded, calm nature that keeps the business cruising. Skilled in many areas of production, he has coordinated and executed stunts (including in this music video for The Shins), built props, choreographed both aerial and underwater stunt videography, and is an all-around media producer: he writes, shoots, and edits with a unique perspective on storytelling.
Joe has lived on Maui since 2001, and along with his obvious strengths in media production, is a skillful surfer, experienced scuba diver and passionate land steward. In 2007, Joe founded The Permaculture Group, a company dedicated to land restoration, family farms, and local food sovereignty.
He is currently hard at work planning the second phase of the Plant a Wish Tour, the inspiration behind Noni Film’s forthcoming feature-length documentary film about his journey with his wife Sara, planting native trees with communities in all 50 states of the U.S..
